Taunton Welcomes Refugees are pleased to announce the extension of their program of free English lessons for Ukrainians for the Summer term (April to July 2023). We will offer classes at the Beginner, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate levels. Classes are on both Tuesday and Thursday mornings, students are expected to attend twice a week  at the Quaker Meeting House in central Taunton (TA1 4EP).

• Pre-intermediate class: 9:30 – 10:45.
• Intermediate class: 11:00 – 12:15.
• Beginners class: 12:45 – 14:15.

Again, we are very grateful to our wonderful qualified English teacher, Katya, who will be leading the classes. Also these classes would not be possible without the significant support of Somerset Supports Ukraine that has generously provided most of the funding required to be able to offer these popular courses.

We are very pleased that we have been able to offer this much need support to our guests from Ukraine. The classes started in September 2022 when we offered an Elementary and Pre-Intermediate class. In January we were delighted to additionally offer a Beginner’s class. The Elementary and Pre-Intermediate classes have progressed to the Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate level for the summer term.
